Our story

HebacoBrouwer is a merging of two specialists in the field of oven technology: Hebaco Bakovenbouw N.V. and Brouwer Oventechniek.

Brouwer oventechniek

1992
The history of Brouwer Oventechniek goes back to the year 1992, when Lute Brouwer starts his company that at that time mainly is focused on a 24-hours service and doing maintenance on bakery ovens.

When in 1993 also the sales of new ovens from the brand MacAdams starts, it cannot be done ‘from home’ en Brouwer Oventechniek moves to the Bedrijvenweg in Nijverdal.

2004
After 11 years, in 2004 Jeroen Brouwer joines the firm. Jeroen has gained experience at other company’s and choses to work alongside with Lute.

2010
In 2010 it turns out that they do not have enough space at the Bedrijvenweg and the number of employees are growing; therefor they decide to move ones more. This time to the Edisonstraat in Nijverdal, where the company is still located. Besides the sale and representation of MacAdams Brouwer Oventechniek starts with the production of several types of their own ovens like the rotating oven.

In 2011 Lute and Jeroen develop together the Hot Water Stone Oven, a rack oven with 6 floating stone floors, which are heated through an uninterrupted hot water system. The Hot Water Stone Oven is the pride of Lute en Jeroen and therefor worthwhile the extra mentioning.

Since 2018 the company has switched to ‘Brouwer Oventechniek B.V.’ and the management of the company is in the hands of Jeroen Brouwer.

Door de explosieve groei die het bedrijf op dit moment doormaakt, zijn we verhuisd naar een nieuwe locatie. Sinds februari '23 zijn wij gevestigd aan de Industrieweg 48 te Nijverdal. Onze nieuwe productie locatie biedt ons meer mogelijkheden om te kunnen blijven voldoen aan de marktvraag.

The history of Hebaco Bakovenbouw goes back to the year 1951, when A. Hekman senior start with the sales of oil burners for bakery ovens.

1960
In the sixties a mass transition occurs to gas burners due to the findings of natural gas in Slochteren. Due to growth of the company Hebaco becomes one of the first residents of the industrial area of Nijverdal.

1972
In 1972 Jan Hekman takes over the company from his father and Hebaco further specializes in the refurbished of types of ovens: deck, rack, rotating, wire mesh belt and thermal oil ovens.

1980
In the eighties Hebaco also starts with the sales of new ovens where in particular the quality ovens from Winkler/Wachtel and FN Aerotherm are a resounding success.

2005
After years of refurbishing and maintenance of several types of thermal oil ovens Hebaco starts in 2005 with the development and production of their own thermal oil oven, at this moment still the showpiece of Hebaco.

2018
In 2018 a change of the guard takes place, where Mark Bezemer and Wouter Beekhuizen take control of the company. Shortly after this the first conversations start with OK Tech (before FN Aerotherm) to transfer the production of rack ovens from Denmark to Nijverdal in the Netherlands.

To realize this takeover Mark Bezemer sought contact with Jeroen Brouwer in the summer of 2019. Where Hebaco had more focus on service and maintenance of several type of ovens, Brouwer strength lies in the production of ovens.

2020
The synergy advantages where so obviously present that the focus quickly shifted to a merger of the two companies and a combined takeover from OK Tech, which is ratified the first of 2020. This makes HebacoBrouwer an international important player, especially in Scandinavia.

2021
The board members of the old Hebaco decide to withdraw from the company. As a result, Jeroen Brouwer is once again fully in charge, and the company will continue under the name Brouwer Oventechniek. With the production of ovens, service and maintenance under one roof.
